It targets a market that is ready for a new experience, with proprietary software and a modern design that stands out, quietly. Valo is all-electric with nearly zero wake, and foiling feels like you are flying above the water.

Steering Yoke Concept Sketches
Valo leans into the futuristic aesthetic that makes sense for such an advanced vehicle. The dark colors, carbon fiber and metallic finishes communicate technology and luxury, while the sleek form communicates freedom and speed. The wood deck honors its roots as a watercraft. Cohesive design decisions throughout help focus the impact on one thing— being a category disrupter.
As a designer on this project, my contributions focused on the design of the steering yoke, development of procedural custom rendering materials, and environmental renderings of the craft.
What I appreciated most about this project is how the team at Zukun aligned our vision and efforts quickly to reach a cohesive concept in a short amount of time, creating inspirational renderings that were successfully used for marketing and procuring investment.
