Hello there!
I’m an industrial designer and artist living in Columbus, OH, and I believe the best creative freedom is found within constraints.
My work merges technical knowledge with an artistic approach, creating designs that live in harmony with their material and manufacturing constraints while being refined, thoughtful, and intuitive.
My technical side thrives on simplifying complex systems, bringing cohesion to a family of products, and working within manufacturing constraints to produce a solution that doesn’t compromise on design. I believe form should live in harmony with function, and I work toward designing products that are naturally intuitive. This approach leads to successful products that are beautiful, efficient, and user-centric.
My artistic side compels me to take an abstract approach to problems, leaning into the intuitive nature of ergonomics, emotion, and perception. My experience as an artist also informs my approach to ratios and composition, lighting and product visualization. I dig deep when creating photorealistic renderings, merging my knowledge of materials and manufacturing process with my artistic training.
In my personal time, I continue to exercise my artistic muscles through printmaking, illustration, and graphic design. The artistic side of my personality complements my analytical side, resulting in designs that pay attention to every detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
