Design Sketchbook
Sketching is an integral part of my design process. The level of refinement in each sketch is determined by its purpose.
When a sketch serves as my personal reference, I prefer to keep it quick and technical, ensuring that I can swiftly proceed to the next step. For concept ideation, I employ a non-judgmental, gestural approach that allows every idea ample room for consideration and discovery. When sketching to present a concept to a client, I pay careful attention to details such as shadows and highlights that effectively communicate form and finish, and I ensure that key features like their logo and signature brand elements are presented clearly. Being intentional with my sketching process helps to streamline my workflow and maximize the impact of each stroke.
