Artistic Renderings

These renderings started as a personal rendering exercise to play with light, texture, and color; but then it turned into an abstract and artistic approach that I could apply to multiple products.

Oftentimes the goal of a rendering is to show how the product looks and functions so that a consumer can make a purchase decision. For this exercise however, I wanted to appreciate the design of a product as an object rather than a tool.

This led to more abstract renderings that focus on the lines and composition of each image rather than the product itself. The lighting highlights the form and texture of the product and the composition guides the eye. Details in the materials add depth and texture to the images.
